An API and some AI for the summer
It's summer time, let's do a small mid-year review.
An API, some AI... and many other features
Just before going on vacation, take a look at the Skriv API (beta version): https://developer.skriv.com
Why an API?
To allow you to modify the elements managed by Skriv without going through the interface.
You can create projects, modify them, validate steps... automatically, from your own programs.
For which use cases?
Maybe you use several different tools in your company: a CRM, a payroll software, a project management software...
You may want that an action on one of them leads to actions on others. It's up to you to create the "glue" between these programs.
For example, with just a few lines of code, you can automatically create a project in Skriv as soon as a contract is signed into your CRM.
Artificial intelligence in Skriv
With AI, Skriv detects risky projects. For this, it analyzes the comments that are written on the projects. If the negative emotions expressed exceed the (configurable) threshold, the project goes into "alerted" status.
Do an effective follow-up of your projects, without having to read all the comments. Don't wait for a project to be late to know that it has problems.
New features
Many changes have been made to Skriv in recent months.
1. A single list to control all projects
Skriv offered you two views to manage your projects: The "Project List" and the "Roadmap". The first served to define the priority of the projects, and the second offered a very effective vision of their progress.
From now on, these two views are combined into one. It's simpler and more efficient.
2. Project Categories
It is now possible to create categories, and to associate each project with a category.
In the list of projects, you can then filter according to the desired category. It's fast and very useful.
3. Built-in exportable Calendar
Now you can see your projects in Skriv's built-in calendar, or export it to Outlook, Google Calendar, iCalendar, etc.
4. A Getting Started Tutorial
On your first login (or reconnection) to Skriv, a tutorial will explain the key concepts of the software.
5. Default template
You can now define a default template. It will be pre-selected when creating a project, which can be very convenient, especially for projects created by users who do not have the rights to modify the template.
6. Custom Logo
Customize the Skriv interface by placing your own logo on it. Only for subscribers of the Enterprise offer.
Have a great summer. We will get back in touch in September, with news and events!
